Ho Chi Minh City, May 2009:  Golden Rose Trading and Travel has concluded a deal with Asian distributor Bikeboutique Singapore that will bring several prestigious bike brands including Cervelo, Hed, Oval Concepts and ISM into the Vietnam marketplace.  For the first time ever customers in Vietnam will have access to these exclusive brand name cycling products through GRT's South Saigon retail outlet. This marks a major coup for GRT as Director Rod Skeggs points out, "These are very exclusive brands that have worldwide recognition.  This really moves us away from being a primarily Asian brand provider to being a provider of the best bikes and accessories in the world."  What this means for Vietnamese consumers is access to a legitimate source of high quality cycling gear with all of the service and support expected of such high profile brands.  Rod Skeggs explains, "In the past when cycling enthusiasts in Vietnam have sought the more prestigious brands they have been forced into underground transactions with absolutely no service or support.  GRT has completely changed the cycling landscape in Vietnam by providing not only a legitimate place to buy this equipment but a reputable company to turn to for replacement parts and qualified service."  The deal with Bikeboutique Singapore marks another important milestone in GRT's commitment to the Vietnamese market and the sport of cycling in the region.
